Nintendo, a Japanese console manufacturer, grew its net profit by 85.7 per cent over the previous year in fiscal 2020.
After the demand in the latest form of coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Nintendo from Kyoto reported record earnings in the fiscal year ending 31 March 2021.
Therefore, net profit grew by 81.8% to 640.6 billion yen ($ 5.8 billion), as revenues grew by 34.4% to 1.76 trillion yen during fiscal 2020.
Nintendo’s net profit in fiscal year 2020, with a further record ending on 31 March 2021, has grown to 480,3 billion yen (4,4 billion dollars). Compared to the financial year 2019 this number rose by 85.7%.
The company’s most recent net profit in 2008 was 279 billion yen (USD 2.55 billion).
